One Room Challenge /Week 3/Home Office

If you are new to my blog -Hello and welcome! I’m Jana Donohoe, an interior designer, half time blogger, wife and mama to 3 beautiful kiddos in North Carolina. I’m really excited to be participating again as a guest in my second One Room Challenge! If you missed week 1 and week 2 of the challenge you can catch up here.

If you have been following along welcome back to the one room challenge week 3. I honestly can’t believe it has been a whole week since my last update. Unfortunately, I do not have much to report on this week. I think that week 3 might have a design curse or something.  In my first One Room Challenge there was the zero progress week 3 too! Hmmm, I wonder what’s up with that? Work has been extremely busy this week and I just have not had time to focus on my own home. That’s life as I know it! Oh well it happens and I will spring back into action this week I hope. I have High Point furniture market that I am attending so I am sure I will be having some freak out moments and sleepless nights very soon!

I haven’t done anything in the room or been able to tackle my DIY projects yet but I did spend some time finalizing some orders and little details that will be coming into the room. Here is a peek at my current situation. I have been ignoring and walking past these boxes for 2 days now. I have to admit that I don’t even recall what I ordered that would be in that many boxes. I’m not sure if I was sleep on-line shopping or what but it’s going to be interesting opening them.

In addition to those boxes I did manage to open one little box with this beautiful green agate that I ordered from West Elm. I’m in love with agate and this green is gorgeous! Can y’all tell this is my husbands books case?! Haha…

On another note: I have been wanting to get rid of this brown laminate counter top forever and I finally have a reason to say good bye brown hello beautiful Super White granite! So, I  knew that the brown was not going to be working with the new color scheme of the office. So I called my granite supplier to see what they had for remnants in a light color. After a review of some great options I ended up choosing the Super white because of all the quartz qualities in it.
